Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Process Safety Engineer to champion safety initiatives at its Mossel Bay facility. You will develop, implement, and manage comprehensive process safety management programs to ensure top operational safety.

Lead hazard identifications, PHAs, and risk assessments while ensuring compliance with OSHA PSM and Seveso directives. Collaboration with engineering, operations and maintenance teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in process safety engineering, preferably in chemical or petrochemical.
• In-depth knowledge of PSM elements, hazard analysis techniques, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations (e.g., OSHA PSM, Seveso Directive).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to drive safety performance.

Responsibilities
