Requirements

• Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Process Operations, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy) or equivalent extensive experience.
• A minimum of 7 years of proven experience as a Process Operator in a smelter or heavy industrial processing environment.
• Strong understanding of pyrometallurgical processes and associated equipment.
• Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and process monitoring.
• In-depth knowledge of safety procedures and environmental regulations applicable to smelter operations.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret process flow diagrams and technical instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in demanding industrial conditions.
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
