Qualifications

• Proven track record designing, implementing, and optimizing automated packaging lines.
• PLC programming and HMI/SCADA proficiency (Siemens/Allen-Bradley).
• Knowledge of robotics, conveyors, vision systems and related packaging automation components.
• Strong manufacturing principles, lean and Six Sigma exposure.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with project management tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with Johannesburg's industrial landscape is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

• Proven track record of successfully designing, implementing, and optimizing automated packaging lines.
• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and HMI/SCADA systems.
• In-depth knowledge of robotic systems, conveyor technology, vision inspection systems, and other packaging automation components.
