Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior Process Engineer to join a mineral processing plant near East London, South Africa. The role focuses on optimizing and troubleshooting crushing, grinding, flotation, and dewatering circuits to improve recovery, product quality, and reduce costs.

You will work with a capable team of engineers, conduct plant trials, monitor performance, and provide training while ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in process engineering within mining/mineral processing.
• Strong understanding of comminution, flotation, and solid-liquid separation techniques.
• Proficiency with METSIM and JKSimFloat.
• Experience with data analysis and root cause investigation.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
