Job summary

Cytel seeks a Senior/Principal Statistical Programmer (SAS + R) to join our embedded sponsor team and drive programming for global clinical trials. You will implement SDTM/ADaM specs, develop complex tables and graphs, and ensure high-quality outputs for regulatory submissions.

You will work largely independently with minimal supervision, mentor junior programmers, and collaborate with CROs and internal stakeholders to meet project timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, or statistics.
• 7+ years of experience as a Statistical Programmer in biotech/pharma clinical development.
• Exceptional SAS programming skills in clinical development environments.
• Extensive CDISC standards experience (SDTM, ADaM, Define.xml) and regulatory affairs familiarity.
• Ability to work independently and lead programming efforts with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Generate SDTM, ADaM specifications, datasets, reviewer’s guides and define.xml files for multiple studies.
• Develop SAS programs to create datasets, listings, tables and graphs for clinical trials.
• Deliver high-quality SAS and R programming outputs and maintain programs for development programs.
• Oversee CRO programmers to ensure timely delivery of statistical outputs.
• Support preparation of clinical study reports, regulatory submissions and exploratory analyses.
