Placements24 is seeking a Senior Automotive Powertrain Controls Engineer to join a fully remote engineering team. You will design, develop, and calibrate control strategies for ICE, hybrid, and EV systems, leveraging MATLAB/Simulink and Stateflow to validate algorithms and perform system-level integration.

The role offers high autonomy, mentorship responsibilities, and exposure to cutting-edge propulsion technologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in automotive powertrain controls development and calibration.
• Strong knowledge of engine control strategies, fuel injection, ignition timing, and emissions control.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and calibrate powertrain control strategies for ICE, hybrid, and EV systems.
• Use MATLAB/Simulink to create and validate control algorithms.
• Perform system-level integration and testing of powertrain control software.
• Analyze test data to identify calibration opportunities and resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain software requirements and specifications for powertrain ECUs.
