Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering with Power Electronics specialization.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in design and development of power electronic converters (DC-DC, AC-DC, DC-AC).
• Proficiency in power electronics simulation software.
• PCB design and layout for high-power applications.
• Digital control techniques for power converters.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop novel power electronic converter topologies for various applications, focusing on efficiency, power density, and cost-effectiveness.
• Perform detailed simulations and analysis of power electronic circuits using industry-standard tools (SPICE, PSIM, MATLAB/Simulink).
• Select appropriate power semiconductor devices and passive components for optimal performance.
• Develop control algorithms and firmware for power converters.
• Design and build prototypes, conduct rigorous testing, and validate performance against design specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design issues during prototyping and testing phases.
• Collaborate with mechanical and thermal engineers to ensure robust system integration.
• Document design processes, test results, and technical reports.
• Stay updated with latest advancements in power electronics components, topologies, and manufacturing techniques.
