Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports across finance, taxation, operations, and regulatory reporting.
• Build and optimize dimensional data models (star/snowflake) and write efficient DAX measures.
• Implement Row-Level Security and data governance for sensitive financial data.
• Create Power Query transformations for data cleansing and integration from multiple sources.
• Develop and maintain SSIS packages for ETL/ELT processes.
• Support migration of on-prem SSIS/SQL workloads to Azure data services and document solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices and reusable BI components.

Are you a seasoned Power BI Developer ready to take ownership of high-impact reporting solutions in a modern Microsoft data environment? We’re looking for a Senior Power BI Developer with hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience to build powerful dashboards, scalable data models, and business-critical reporting solutions across finance, taxation, operations, and regulatory reporting.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Bring 7+ years of experience to the role, applying your expertise to deliver robust and meaningful BI solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for finance, taxation, operations, and regulatory reporting.
• Apply hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric to support the development of modern BI and data solutions.
• Build and optimise dimensional data models, including star and snowflake schemas, and write efficient DAX measures and calculated columns.
• Create Power Query (M) transformations for data cleansing, shaping, and integration from multiple source systems.
• Develop, schedule, and maintain SSIS packages for ETL/ELT processes involving core banking and enterprise systems.
• Write high-performance T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions; tune queries and indexes for large datasets.
• Implement Row-Level Security, data governance, and access controls for sensitive financial data.
• Gather and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions in partnership with analysts and stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot data quality, performance, and refresh issues across the SSIS-to-Power BI pipeline.
• Support the migration of on-premise SSIS/SQL workloads to Azure data services and document all solutions for compliance.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices, coding standards, and reusable BI components.
