Job summary

Parvana in Cape Town seeks a Portfolio Intelligence Associate (Senior) to support monthly and quarterly portfolio monitoring, maintain templates, and prepare accurate reports. Qualifications

• Strong analytical and numerical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Comprehensive understanding of core financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
• Proficiency in Excel and confidence in handling large financial datasets.
• Ability to detect data inconsistencies and investigate the drivers of financial performance.
• Strong organizational skills to effectively manage recurring reporting deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly and quarterly portfolio monitoring, Flash reporting, and template maintenance.
• Review and reconcile portfolio company financial statements against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
• Prepare Excel and Sigma reports while ensuring high data accuracy and control standards.
• Assist with onboarding new portfolio companies and mapping their accounts into standardized templates.
• Liaise with deal teams and portfolio management to resolve financial queries and support monthly valuations.
• Own routine validation processes and elevate complex accounting, modeling, or data issues when necessary.
