Job summary

HotelJobs is seeking a Senior Plumber to lead the hotel’s plumbing team in Stellenbosch. The role covers installation, maintenance, and repair of all plumbing and related mechanical systems to ensure guest comfort and regulatory compliance.

You will supervise staff, coordinate with contractors, and contribute to preventative maintenance planning and projects. A licensed plumber with post-qualification experience in large facilities is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified and licensed plumber with a recognised trade certification.
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience, preferably in hospitality or large facilities.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills; able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach plumbing staff and apprentices.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing, water reticulation, drainage, and related systems.
• Maintain pumps, geysers, boilers, and water treatment equipment.
