Job summary

Network Finance in Burgersfort seeks an experienced Mining/Mechanical Engineer to lead plant asset availability and reliability. You will oversee legal compliance, structural safety and environmental standards, and manage utility and infrastructure functions.

The role also emphasizes budget control, team leadership, and contractor governance to deliver safe, efficient operations. The ideal candidate has GCC Mines and Works, with senior management experience in heavy mining, preferably chrome ore

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in heavy industrial/mining engineering with 3–5 years in senior management (Paterson D-band) with Section 7(2) appointments.
• Direct technical experience managing high-tonnage Chrome Ore Beneficiation Plants, crushing and screening, spiral gravity concentration, and tailings dams is preferable.
• GCC Mines and Works is mandatory; professional registration (Pr.Eng / Pr.Tech Eng) with ECSA is highly preferred.
