Job summary

Samancor Chrome Ltd. seeks a Plant Manager to lead production and maintenance teams at a site in Northern Cape, South Africa.

You will drive safe, cost-effective operations and ensure high-quality finished products while managing personnel and key stakeholder relationships. You will be responsible for maintaining SHEQ standards, aligning maintenance strategies with the business plan, and achieving performance targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: Relevant Degree or National Diploma.
• 8 years’ relevant experience, preferably 2 years managerial experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Production and Maintenance Teams in safe, cost-effective execution of all production and maintenance processes.
• Ensure high-quality finished products and align production strategy with the business plan.
• Drive safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ) compliance and use the IMS to monitor trends and report status.
• Manage and develop personnel, maintain discipline, and conduct recruitment interviews.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and ensure customer/supplier satisfaction.
