Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role within the pharmaceutical industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and relevant South African and international pharmaceutical regulations.
• Proven experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) , CAPA, and change control procedures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage quality assurance protocols and procedures for pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
• Conduct regular audits of manufacturing facilities, equipment, and personnel to ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory standards.
• Analyze product batch records, test results, and deviation reports to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, and regulatory affairs teams to address quality issues and improve processes.
• Prepare and review documentation for regulatory submissions and inspections.
• Train junior QA staff on quality systems and compliance requirements.
