Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in pharmaceutical process development.
• Proven expertise in process design, optimization, and scale-up of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
• Strong understanding of GMP, quality risk management, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ICH guidelines).
• Experience with analytical techniques for characterizing materials and processes.
• Excellent problem-solving, data analysis, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information effectively.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for drug substances and drug products.
• Design and execute experimental plans to evaluate CPPs and CQAs.
• Conduct scale-up studies from laboratory to pilot and commercial scales.
• Investigate and resolve process-related issues, deviations, and OOS results.
• Develop and validate analytical methods for in-process controls and product characterization.
• Prepare comprehensive process development reports and documentation for regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, quality control, and regulatory affairs teams.
• Stay updated on new technologies and advancements in pharmaceutical process development.
