Ideal candidates have 5+ years in production engineering, proficiency with reservoir simulation tools, and a strong grasp of reservoir mechanics and wellbore

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of production engineering experience in oil and gas.
Proficiency with reservoir simulation software and production analysis tools.
Strong understanding of reservoir mechanics, fluid flow, and wellbore hydraulics.
Experience with artificial lift technologies (ESP, rod pumps, gas lift).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Analyze well performance data to identify opportunities for production optimization.
Develop and implement strategies for artificial lift systems, well stimulation, and water/gas injection.
Monitor reservoir conditions and production trends, recommending adjustments to maximize recovery.
Conduct technical evaluations of new and existing wells, providing insights for operational strategies.
