Addiction Foods NZ Ltd. is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead our Te Puke pet food facility, reporting to the CEO. This senior role requires hands-on leadership to drive safety, quality, and efficiency across the site.

We welcome South African leaders willing to relocate to New Zealand. The role emphasizes production performance, continuous improvement, and building a high‑performance culture among operations, maintenance, engineering and QA teams.

Qualifications

• Strong plant or site leadership experience in food/FMCG environments.
• 5–8 years of progressive manufacturing leadership.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Engineering, Food Science or related technical degree.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP, Lean/Six Sigma, TPM/5S/Kaizen, RCA, ERP/MRP, and production performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead production, quality, maintenance, and EHS across the site.
• Drive OEE, throughput, and cost control improvements.
• Develop talent and coach leaders on the floor.
• Ensure compliance with NZ manufacturing/export requirements.
• Partner with Supply Chain, QA, regulatory, engineering and operations.
