MANPOWER Group in South Africa is seeking a Production Team Leader to oversee daily operations in a food manufacturing environment, ensuring safety, quality and on-time production. The role requires readiness to coach operators and drive continuous improvement.

You will monitor processes, conduct inspections, manage changeovers, and uphold HACCP and ISO standards while leading a small team to meet targets.

Qualifikationen

• Matric with Mathematics and Science or N3 qualification.
• National Certificate in Food Processing or Diploma in Production Management advantageous.
• 2-3 years' experience in a food, beverage, dairy, or related manufacturing environment.
• Previous team leader or supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, health and safety regulations, HACCP, ISO standards, and manufacturing best practices.
• Familiarity with HACCP and ISO standards and health & safety regulations.

Aufgaben

• Operate and monitor production equipment according to standard operating procedures.
• Ensure production plans are achieved while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Conduct routine process checks, quality inspections, and production reporting.
• Manage product changeovers and equipment start-ups/shutdowns.
• Support first-line maintenance and preventative maintenance activities.
• Lead and motivate production team members to achieve operational targets.
• Drive housekeeping, hygiene, GMP, HACCP, and health & safety compliance.
• Identify production losses, process deviations, and improvement opportunities.
• Assist with coaching, training, and performance management of operators.
• Maintain accurate production and operational documentation.
