Job summary

Dante Personnel Pretoria Silver Lakes is assisting with a senior payroll administrator vacancy. The successful candidate will handle end-to-end payroll processing, statutory submissions (PAYE, UIF, SDL) and HR administration tasks, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

You will use Sage Payroll or VIP and Pastel, work with contracts, leave management, and recruitment support, and you will need strong numeracy and organisational skills along with solid references.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate
• Post-matric qualification in Office Administration, HR Management, Payroll Administration, Bookkeeping or related field is preferred
• Payroll qualification or SAPA certification is advantageous
• 8–10 years of senior administrative, payroll, or HR admin experience
• End-to-end payroll processing including PAYE, UIF, SDL
• HR administration covering contracts, leave management and recruitment support
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook
• Payroll/accounting software proficiency (Sage/Pastel)
• References that verify payroll/HR experience
• Clear credit and criminal checks
• Driver's licence advantageous
• Strong numerical accuracy and reconciliation skills
• Strong organisational skills to manage monthly payroll and deadlines
