Job summary

Indsafri in South Africa is seeking a Senior Oracle Developer to design, develop, and maintain Oracle database solutions that support the company's investments objectives. You will work with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure data platforms and ensure data integrity while optimizing performance.

You will lead complex SQL/PL-SQL development, mentor junior developers, and collaborate across IT and business teams to deliver reliable database services, backups, upgrades, and security control.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience designing, developing, and optimizing Oracle database solutions.
• Strong SQL/PL-SQL proficiency and performance tuning capabilities.
• Experience with data migration, ETL processes, and database integration.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field; Oracle Certified Professional is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Oracle database schemas, tables, indexes, and procedures.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL/PL-SQL queries to meet business needs.
• Perform backups, restores, upgrades, and ensure data security.
• Collaborate with project managers and IT teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.
