Profile Personnel is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of an established abattoir. A senior, hands-on leader is needed to drive performance, lead teams, build strong client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the business.

The role requires senior management experience in an operational environment; abattoir or meat processing exposure is advantageous, with a strong focus on leadership, sales, customer service and regulatory

Qualifications

• Proven senior management experience within an operational environment.
• Experience within an abattoir, meat processing or similar environment will be advantageous.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Strong sales and commercial awareness.
• Experience dealing with clients and key accounts.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• Hands-on and solutions-focused approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall day-to-day operations of the abattoir.
• Lead and develop operational teams to achieve business objectives.
• Drive productivity, efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Manage operational budgets and monitor costs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key accounts.
• Support sales growth by developing existing and new business relationships.
• Ensure customer requirements and service expectations are consistently met.
• Monitor operational performance and implement improvements where required.
• Ensure adherence to relevant quality, health, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Take overall accountability for operational performance and service delivery.
