Placements24 is seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead the Soweto, Gauteng operations, driving manufacturing, production, and logistics to achieve excellence and profitability.

The role requires a strategic leader with a track record in large-scale operations, implementing Lean and Six Sigma, and optimizing resources. A senior leadership mindset and strong financial acumen are essential.

Formación

• MBA or equivalent in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 10–15 years of progressive operations management experience, with 5+ years in senior leadership.
• Strong Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, supply chain, and financial management expertise.
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Experience in a unionized environment is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute the overall operations strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee manufacturing, production, supply chain, and logistics to meet targets for output, cost, quality and safety.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of operations managers and staff.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all operations.
• Monitor KPIs and report performance to the executive team.
