Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or related Earth Science.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Operations Geologist in oil & gas.
• Proven ability to interpret geological data and make critical decisions under pressure.
• Familiarity with well logging tools and mud logging services.
• Strong knowledge of structural geology, sedimentology, and stratigraphy relevant to the operational areas.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate geological support and decision-making during drilling operations, interpreting well logs and formation data in real-time.
• Monitor drilling parameters and geological conditions to anticipate and mitigate potential drilling hazards.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of geological models based on new well data and operational feedback.
• Collaborate closely with drilling engineers, mud loggers, and directional drillers to ensure efficient and safe well construction.
• Assist in the planning and execution of well testing and sampling programs.
• Prepare end-of-well geological reports and contribute to post-drilling analyses and learnings.
