MSF Ubuntu, based in Johannesburg, seeks an Operational Finance Advisor to provide strategic financial support to country programs. You will ensure sound financial stewardship, internal controls, and accountability throughout the project cycle, reporting to the Head of Operational Finance and coordinating with the Operational Cell Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Professional managerial accounting qualifications (CIMA or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive finance experience.
• At least 3 years supporting humanitarian, development or emergency operations.

Responsabilités

• Advise country program teams on financial planning and resource allocation.
• Support project design, budget development and financial feasibility assessments.
• Participate in project reviews, operational planning meetings and emergency response planning.
• Support forecasting financial needs and monitoring expenditure.
• Ensure implementation of MSF Ubuntu financial policies and procedures.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and ad hoc management reports.
• Contribute to organizational performance monitoring.
