Placements24 is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison for a fully remote, field-based role covering the Eastern Cape region of South Africa. The successful candidate will be the primary scientific resource for KOLs and HCPs, disseminating clinical information while gathering insights to support R&D efforts.

The role requires an advanced life sciences degree and at least 5 years of MSL or related experience in oncology, with exceptional communication and the ability to travel extensively

Competenze

• Advanced degree in life sciences (Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., D.O.)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Medical Science Liaison, clinical development, medical affairs, or a related field, preferably oncology
• Deep knowledge of oncology, current treatment paradigms, and clinical trial design
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel extensively (70-80%) and work remotely from home office

Mansioni

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with KOLs and HCPs in the assigned territory
• Disseminate scientific information regarding products and therapeutic areas in a balanced, compliant manner
• Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries from KOLs and HCPs
• Gather insights on unmet medical needs and competitive intelligence and relay internally
• Support planning and execution of medical affairs strategies including advisory boards and IIS
• Present scientific data at medical congresses and regional meetings
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and Market Access teams
• Ensure activities comply with industry codes, policies, and regulatory guidelines
• Identify investigators for clinical trials and support study initiation
• Contribute to development of scientific and educational materials
