Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Senior Medical Science Liaison to cover the Durban, KwaZulu-Natal region, acting as the scientific and medical expert for the oncology portfolio. Qualifications

• Advanced degree in life sciences required (Pharm.D./Ph.D./M.D. or equivalent).
• Experience as an MSL in oncology preferred (4–5 years).
• Strong ability to communicate complex scientific data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals.
• Serve as a scientific resource for oncology products, discussing efficacy and safety.
• Disseminate clinical data via meetings, presentations, and discussions.
• Gather insights from KOLs to inform development and commercial strategy.
• Support IITs and advise on trial recruitment.
• Represent the company at medical congresses and scientific meetings.
• Collaborate with medical affairs, development, and commercial teams to align strategies.
• Identify potential speakers for scientific activities.
• Contribute to training materials and scientific communications.
