Placements24 is seeking an accomplished Medical Science Liaison (MSL) with a focus on Oncology for a fully remote, field-based position in South Africa. You will travel to engage with KOLs, researchers, and clinicians across the assigned territory, serving as a scientific resource on therapeutic areas and research initiatives.

The role demands deep oncology expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently across a remote territory with significant travel.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced degree in a relevant scientific or clinical discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience as an MSL or in a related field within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably oncology.
• Deep understanding of oncology therapeutics, clinical trial design, and biostatistics.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, researchers, and clinicians in oncology.
• Engage in scientific exchange to educate healthcare professionals on therapeutic areas, clinical data and product use.
• Gather insights from the field regarding treatment practices, unmet needs, and competitive intelligence.
• Support clinical trial activities, including site identification, investigator engagement, and data dissemination.
• Present complex scientific information clearly at medical conferences and advisory boards.
