Placements24 is seeking a Senior Network Solutions Architect to design and deliver end-to-end telecom network solutions in a remote-first setup. You will shape architectural vision, ensure scalability, reliability and security across cloud and on-prem environments.

The role requires deep expertise in IP networks, MPLS, BGP/OSPF, SDN/NFV, and cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP). 5G/LTE and optical networking are a plus, with leadership and mentorship responsibilities.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in network architecture, design, and implementation within the telecommunications industry.
• Proven expertise in designing and deploying large-scale IP networks, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and related routing protocols.
• Strong understanding of SDN, NFV, cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP), and virtualization technologies.
• Experience with wireless technologies (5G, LTE) and optical networking is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
• Proficiency in network simulation and modeling tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCIE, CCNP, JNCIE) are a plus.
