Placements24 is seeking a highly vigilant Senior Network Security Analyst to join a dedicated security operations team. This fully remote role safeguards a major telecoms network, monitoring threats, investigating incidents, and deploying advanced security measures from anywhere.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in network security and holds CISSP/CEH/GIAC or similar certifications, with strong knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and encryption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in network security analysis and incident response.
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs and encryption.
• Experience with security monitoring tools and vulnerability scanners.
• CISSP/CEH/GIAC or similar certifications valued.
• Able to work independently in a remote environment.
