Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage network security solutions, including firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDPS), and VPNs.
• Monitor network traffic and security logs for potential threats and vulnerabilities, performing timely analysis and response.
• Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in the network infrastructure.
• Respond to and manage security incidents, including investigation, containment, and remediation efforts.
• Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies relevant to telecommunications networks .

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in network security, with a strong focus on telecoms environments .
• Proficiency with security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM tools, and endpoint security.
• Understanding of network protocols and common attack vectors.
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are highly preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
