Placements24 is seeking a Senior Radio Network Engineer for the Rustenburg, North West region to lead 5G network deployment and ongoing RAN optimization.

The role focuses on design, tuning, troubleshooting and performance analysis across 4G/5G networks, with on-site and remote collaboration supporting a modern telecom environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 years in mobile radio networks (3G/4G/5G).
• Strong knowledge of RAN, parameter config, performance tuning.
• Experience with spectrum analysis and RF planning tools.
• Experience with cloud-native RAN (vRAN/Open RAN) is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Familiarity with cloud-native RAN (vRAN/Open RAN) concepts is highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in data analysis and performance reporting.
