Job summary

The Takealot Group is seeking a Senior Level Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize our distributed networking infrastructure across multiple sites in a fast-growing online retail environment.

You will lead initiatives on SD-WAN, firewall policies, VPNs, and routing protocols, while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with vendors. A CCNP and 5+ years of experience are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of network engineering in tech environments.
• CCNP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and rebuild networking infrastructure across LAN/WAN and security layers.
• Lead network installation and support with Cisco/Huawei equipment.
• Configure Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, and security hardening.
• Design and deploy SD-WAN solutions for multi-site environments.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate vendor tasks.
