Job summary

iOCO Limited in Cape Town is seeking experienced .NET MAUI developers to join a new terminal application team. The role is contract, hybrid in Cape Town, with 5+ years of experience at intermediate/senior/lead levels.

You will design and implement the Android-capable UI using .NET MAUI, and collaborate across payment, fleet and mobile money back-ends. Ideal candidates bring strong C#/.NET experience, a proven MAUI or Xamarin.Forms track record, Android interop skills and familiarity with

• Ability to work independently against loosely defined requirements.

Job description

We’re looking for 2 experienced (Intermediate/ Senior/ Lead) .NET MAUI developers to join our Cape Town based team. We're setting up a small development team for a new Android terminal application. The Application will be built in .NET MAUI.

What you'll do:

• Design and build the terminal application in .NET MAUI
• Integrate with payment, fleet and mobile money back-ends, etc.
• Own features end-to-end, from spec conversation through to on-device testing
• Test on physical terminals at the Cape Town offices
• Contribute to architecture and technical direction

Your Expertise:

• Strong commercial .NET / C# experience
• Proven .NET MAUI or Xamarin.Forms delivery
• Android platform experience, including native interop and working with hardware SDKs
• Practical, daily use of AI coding tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot or similar)
• Ability to work independently against loosely defined requirements

Advantageous

• Payments, POS or terminal application experience (EMV, ISO 8583, PCI)
• PAX, Ingenico, Verifone or similar device SDK experience
• Fuel forecourt or retail automation background
• Offline-first / intermittent connectivity application design
• CI/CD for Android deployment
