Job summary

DigiOutsource in Cape Town is seeking a senior software engineer to design, develop and deploy robust .NET solutions. You will collaborate with front-end teams, architects and QA to deliver scalable services and APIs that power gaming platforms.

You will mentor juniors, review code, and drive best practices in CI/CD, testing and cloud deployment. Expect a dynamic environment with strong emphasis on quality and security.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in full software development life cycle.
• Strong proficiency in OOP with C# and .NET framework.
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Proficiency with SQL Server and writing efficient queries.
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
• Ability to mentor and transfer knowledge to the team.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, enhance and deploy software according to company standards and best practices.
• Unit-test all software artifacts.
• Collaborate with Architects, Software Engineers, QA and Product Managers on development and deployment.
• Provide second/third line support for software in production.
• Mentor junior developers and review code for quality.
