Job summary

Super Group in Cape Town is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust software solutions using C#, .NET, and JavaScript frameworks. You will work across front-end and back-end layers, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

We value strong OOP skills, RESTful API design, and hands-on experience with containers, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices. Prior gaming/online experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in full SDLC as software engineer or developer.
• Solid understanding of design patterns and methodologies.
• Strong OOP skills with C# and .NET.
• Proficient in C#, JavaScript, Angular, React, Vue, Node.js.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Databases: SQL Server and MongoDB
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• DevOps practices including CI/CD and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain front-end and back-end apps per standards.
• Deliver scalable, secure software meeting business requirements.
• Participate in SDLC from requirements to deployment and maintenance.
• Maintain and modernize existing systems; pursue performance gains.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Architects.
• Provide incident response and system reliability support.
• Monitor performance and ensure SLA adherence.
