Placements24 in Bloemfontein is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to design, develop and maintain enterprise applications within a hybrid work model. You will lead critical components, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architectural decisions, leveraging C# and the .NET stack.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in .NET, solid knowledge of ASP.NET MVC/Web API, and experience with SQL databases and ORMs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional .NET development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET framework (ASP.NET MVC, Web API).
• Front-end skills with JavaScript/HTML5/CSS3; Angular or React a plus.
• Experience with databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and ORMs (EF).
• Experience with Agile, Git, and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable applications using C# and the .NET framework (ASP.NET MVC, Web API).
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following best practices.
• Collaborate with analysts, PMs, and other developers to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve defects and performance issues in existing apps.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and design new system components.
