Placements24 in Bloemfontein is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our IT team. You will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications using Java and Spring Boot within a hybrid work setup.

You will work on complex projects across the full software development lifecycle, write clean code, and contribute to RESTful API design, testing, and deployment while mentoring junior developers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong Spring (Spring Boot, MVC, Data) expertise.
• Solid OO design principles and patterns.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL and ORM.
• Familiarity with Git and build tools like Maven or Gradle.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise Java applications.
• Collaborate with analysts to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Write clean, well-documented, maintainable code.
