Job summary

Ioco in Cape Town is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using C#, Blazor, and Azure services. You will drive reusable UI components, secure coding practices, and scalable architectures while mentoring junior developers in a hybrid Cape Town work setup.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and ongoing learning within an Agile/Scrum environment. Contract position for 6 months.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years with modern .NET technologies.
• Experience leading enterprise software projects.
• Agile/Scrum experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using C#, .NET Core, and Blazor Server/WASM.
• Build reusable UI components with Fluent UI or MudBlazor for performance.
• Develop back-end services with ASP.NET Core following clean architecture.
• Integrate Azure B2C authentication and manage file transfers with Azure Blob Storage.
• Implement EF Core, LINQ queries, and database migrations.
• Build CQRS pipelines with MediatR and ensure audit logging and security practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD via Azure DevOps for builds, tests, and deployments.
• Collaborate with UI/UX, QA, and product teams; mentor juniors; stay updated with tech trends.
