Job summary

DVT in Cape Town is seeking Intermediate to Senior .NET Developers to turn ideas into working software quickly, collaborating with experienced engineers on Azure, microservices, and enterprise integrations.

You will design, build, test, and deploy applications, mentor juniors, and create CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native patterns. A strong background in C#, ASP.NET, and modern web technologies is expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with .Net and C#.
• 1+ year experience with Vue.
• Experience with application development.
• Experience in DevOps practices and microservices.
• Experience with SDLC and software development lifecycle.
• Expertise in Azure and AWS technologies and tools.
• Strong understanding of design patterns such as Clean Architecture, Repository, MVC, MVVM, DI.
• Experience with web technologies including React, Angular/Blazor, HTML, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, TypeScript.
• Experience in testing with unit testing frameworks (XUnit, NUnit) and integration testing.
• Experience with tools: Visual Studio, Git, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs to technical specifications.
• Design, build and deploy applications
• Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
• Evaluate and improve development governance & standards including code reviews.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate systems.
• Manage Azure DevOps projects (branching strategies and policies)
• Mentor junior and intermediate developers
• Create CI/CD pipelines for Azure and on-prem environments
• Assist with bringing cloud solutions up to par with industry standards.
