Job summary

Pinewood.AI is seeking an experienced Senior Developer to join our Cape Town hub. You will contribute to the Pinewood Automotive Intelligence Platform, working closely with UK teams to design, develop, and deliver scalable features across the full .NET stack.

You will stay hands-on with coding and integrations, while promoting best practices in testing, deployment, and performance. The role supports a globally distributed SaaS product for automotive retailers and OEMs.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Senior Developer in SaaS/enterprise software.
Strong hands-on C#, .NET/.NET Core, and SQL skills.
Experience with front-end tech: HTML, JavaScript, and Razor.
Ability to build/integrate with third-party systems via REST APIs.
Practical Azure cloud and CI/CD tooling experience.
Proficient in either Visual Studio or VS Code.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deliver high-quality features across the Pinewood Automotive Intelligence Platform.
Collaborate with UK Product and Engineering teams to implement new functionality and integrations.
Remain hands-on in coding, solution design, and development across the full .NET stack.
Develop and maintain integrations with third-party platforms via APIs.
Support best practices across development, testing, and deployment for scalable, secure solutions.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, tooling, and engineering practices.
Participate in technical discussions to support product improvements and delivery.
Diagnose complex technical issues, including integration challenges and performance improvements.
Collaborate across distributed teams in SA and the UK.
