Job summary

ATS Client in Cape Town is seeking a veteran Senior C#/.NET Software Engineer to own and evolve a globally used Automotive Intelligence platform. You'll stay hands‑on across the full stack, collaborating with UK teams to deliver scalable features and robust integrations.

You will work in a hybrid setup (2‑3 days in office) on a complex, enterprise‑scale SaaS platform, with a strong engineering culture and ownership of your output.

Qualifications

• Senior Developer with SaaS or enterprise experience.
• Strong C#, .NET / .NET Core, and SQL.
• SQL performance optimisation and database tuning.
• Data modelling and large data handling.
• Frontend basics: HTML, JavaScript, Razor/Blazor.
• Experience integrating with APIs.
• Exposure to Azure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong grasp of software development best practices and agile delivery.
• Experience across the full SDLC and distributed teams.

Your Key Responsibilities

Our Required Expertise

• Strong experience as a Senior Developer in SaaS or enterprise environments
• Solid hands‑on skills in C#, .NET / .NET Core, and SQL
• Strong experience in SQL performance optimisation and database tuning
• Solid understanding of data modelling, efficient querying, and large data handling
• Experience with front‑end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, Razor/ Blazor)
• Proven experience integrating with third‑party systems (APIs)
• Exposure to Azure and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong grasp of software development best practices and agile delivery
• Experience across the full SDLC
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in distributed team

Desirable Experience

• Experience working in globally distributed development environments
• Experience working on platforms that rely on multiple third‑party integrations
• Exposure to high‑volume or data‑intensive systems
• Experience working in Kanban or flow‑based delivery environments

Your Reward
