Pinewood.AI in Cape Town seeks an experienced Lead Developer to guide a growing team and deliver high-quality features for our Automotive Intelligence Platform. You will collaborate with UK-based Product and Engineering teams, stay hands-on in the .NET stack, and mentor engineers to uphold engineering excellence.

The role requires strong C#, .NET Core, SQL/T-SQL, Azure, and front-end skills, with experience in Azure DevOps, Visual Studio or VS Code, and architectural leadership.

Qualifications

• Lead Developer or Senior Developer in SaaS/enterprise software environments.
• Strong hands-on C#, .NET/.NET Core, SQL/T-SQL expertise.
• Experience with Azure Cloud Services and Azure DevOps.
• Front-end experience with HTML, JavaScript, and Razor.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio or VS Code.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers in the Cape Town hub with day-to-day technical direction.
• Collaborate with UK Product and Engineering teams to deliver features for Pinewood Automotive Intelligence Platform.
• Remain hands-on in coding, design, and architecture across the .NET stack.
• Mentor team members and promote a culture of learning and engineering excellence.
• Ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise SaaS solutions and CI/CD practices.
