Job summary

Capitec Bank Ltd. is seeking a senior, hands-on native mobile automation specialist to advance automation across iOS and Android and to shape scalable testing strategies.

You will drive best practices, design robust frameworks, and mentor peers while balancing automation with pragmatic manual testing when appropriate. You will integrate tests into CI/CD, work with web/API tests, and lead efforts to improve reliability and coverage in complex product environments, reporting into the Automation

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
5–8 years' automation testing experience, including framework design at scale
Test Automation Certification advantageous

Responsibilities

Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, quality gates, version control and reporting
Build web, API and service-level automation for complex and event-driven systems
Set coding standards, review automation code and improve framework performance and reliability
Track automation coverage and use results to identify systemic quality risks
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and represent automation in technical forums
