Placements24 is seeking a Senior Data Scientist with a specialization in machine learning to join our remote R&D team. You will design, build, and deploy advanced ML models to drive data-informed decisions across the organization.

You will analyze large, complex datasets, run experiments to improve model performance, and partner with engineering and product teams to productionize solutions. Strong communication in a remote-first setting is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field.
• 5+ years of professional data science experience with a strong focus on machine learning.
• Proficiency in Python or R and ML libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling, experimental design, and data mining techniques.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy sophisticated ML models for predictive analytics and pattern recognition.
• Clean, process, and analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights.
