Job summary

Marvel Placement Consultants seeks an experienced Warehouse Manager for a mining project based in Mokopane, Limpopo. You will lead daily warehouse operations, oversee receiving, storage, and dispatch, and ensure safety, accuracy, and timely material availability to support mining activities.

The role demands 8+ years in warehouse/materials management in heavy industry, plus 3+ years in a supervisory capacity.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
• National Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Materials Management, Business Management, or related field.
• 8+ years' experience in warehouse/materials management in mining/large industrial environments.
• 3+ years in a Warehouse Manager or Supervisory role.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Pronto/Oracle/Syspro).
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Experience managing warehouse personnel and contractors.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, goods receiving, stock issuing and inventory reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations supporting mining/project activities.
• Oversee receiving, storage, issuing and dispatch of materials and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and safety standards.
• Optimize layouts and material flow for efficiency.
• Lead and develop warehouse staff and contractors.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly performance reports and KPIs.
