Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a skilled Millwright to install, maintain and repair mechanical and electrical equipment across our processing lines, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient plant operations.

You will support production by reducing downtime, tackling breakdowns and executing planned maintenance in line with safety and engineering standards. FMCG packaging environment experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Trade-tested Millwright with electrical work experience.
• N6 qualification in electrical and mechanical engineering.
• Packaging experience in FMCG.
• High-tension switching certification or competence.
• MESS Level 3 qualification.
• Computer literate with SAP and Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Completes machinery and equipment safety assessments in line with MESS requirements.
• Performs medium-, low-, and high-tension electrical switching, maintenance and fault-finding.
• Ensures electrical and mechanical compliance, including Certificates of Compliance, inspections and required sign-offs.
• Leads the repair, installation, replacement and testing of electrical circuits, equipment and appliances.
• Diagnoses and repairs complex electrical and mechanical faults across process, packaging, palletising and utilities equipment.
• Plans and executes major electrical outages to minimise operational disruption.
• Provides technical input on electrical design, equipment specifications, safety standards and process improvements.
• Maintains electrical drawings and supports preventative maintenance inspections with the Engineering team.
