Key Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical engineering design for industrial plants, including process equipment, piping systems, HVAC, and rotating machinery.
• Develop and review mechanical design documents, P&IDs, equipment specifications, and technical reports.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry codes, standards (e.g., ASME, API), and safety regulations.
• Manage mechanical engineering aspects of projects, coordinating with other disciplines and stakeholders.
• Perform detailed engineering calculations and analyses for mechanical systems.
• Oversee the procurement, installation, and commissioning of mechanical equipment.
• Conduct site surveys, inspections, and feasibility studies for new projects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior mechanical engineers.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues encountered during project execution and in operational plants.
• Contribute to bid preparation and project cost estimation for mechanical scopes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• A minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience, with a significant portion dedicated to industrial plant design and construction.
• In-depth knowledge of process equipment, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and materials science.
• Proven experience with industry codes and standards relevant to industrial plants.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
