Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA) and FEA tools (ANSYS, Abaqus).
• Experience designing complex mechanical systems for diverse applications.
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and DFM/DFA principles.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptualization, design, and development of mechanical systems using CAD software.
• Perform stress, thermal, and vibration analyses to validate designs.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, and PM teams for integrated product development.
• Create and maintain drawings, BOMs, specifications, and test procedures.
• Oversee prototyping and testing, troubleshoot and modify designs as needed.
• Contribute to design-for-manufacturability and cost optimization.
• Mentor junior engineers and share design best practices.
