Job summary

Glencore International AG is seeking a seasoned warehouse professional to manage receiving, issuing, storage and stocktaking within a mining context. The role focuses on stock security, accurate control, and timely reporting.

Candidates should have a National Diploma (NQF6) in a related field, at least five years in warehouse operations, and hands-on SAP and Coupa P2P experience, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• NQF6 national diploma in supply chain management or related field.
• Minimum five years’ warehouse experience, preferably in mining.
• Sound knowledge of warehouse operations, stock control and procurement.
• SAP and Coupa P2P experience.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Managing warehouse receiving, issuing, storage and stocktaking activities.
• Ensuring stock availability, security and accurate stock control.
• Conducting Material Requirements Planning and monitoring stock levels, cycle counts and variances.
• Controlling purchase orders, delivery documentation and vendor performance.
• Maintaining accurate materials management records and compiling monthly and ad-hoc reports.
• Building effective relationships with internal customers, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, legislation and HSEC requirements.
