Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree is highly desirable.
• 6+ years hands-on experience in manufacturing systems engineering or process control.
• Proven PLC programming experience (Siemens, Rockwell) and SCADA proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of robotics and industrial communication protocols (Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
• Lean manufacturing and SPC expertise; solid CAD skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement advanced manufacturing systems and automation solutions.
• Analyze production processes to improve efficiency, yield, and cost.
• Oversee integration of robotics, PLCs, and SCADA into manufacturing environments.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, P&IDs, and manuals.
• Lead troubleshooting to minimize downtime and resolve complex issues.
• Collaborate with R&D, QA, and operations for seamless scale-up.
• Implement data acquisition and analysis to monitor performance.
• Ensure systems comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage external vendors and contractors for implementation and maintenance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
