Placements24 is seeking a Senior Residential Architect in Bloemfontein for a hybrid role combining in-office collaboration with remote work. The candidate will lead design teams, manage client relationships, and oversee luxury residential projects from concept to construction.

The ideal candidate has a Master's in Architecture, 7+ years in high-end residential projects, and a portfolio of bespoke homes, with strong skills in Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• 7+ years in high-end residential architecture.
• Portfolio showcasing luxurious, custom-designed homes.
• Expertise in luxury materials, finishes, and custom fabrication.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and rendering.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and construction methods for high-quality residences.
• Excellent client liaison, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead and manage design teams effectively.
• Based in or willing to commute to Bloemfontein for Hybrid work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for high-end residential projects, ensuring exceptional aesthetic quality and functional design.
• Engage with clients to understand their lifestyle, preferences, and requirements for their dream homes.
• Develop detailed architectural plans, elevations, sections, and 3D visualizations.
• Specify premium materials, finishes, and fixtures, ensuring alignment with luxury standards and budgets.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, interior designers, landscape architects, and other consultants.
• Manage project documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Oversee the construction phase, ensuring adherence to design intent and quality standards.
• Mentor junior architects and designers, fostering a culture of design excellence.
• Conduct site analyses and feasibility studies for new residential developments.
• Stay updated on luxury market trends and innovative residential design concepts.
